Les, you posted the Hinckle-lantern! Good for you! Since the post was sparse on text, I'll fill in. Leslie carved this at a YW activity years ago and it lived for several months in our freezer chest. It's been a family legend ever since. She even sent a photo of it to President Hinckley. As far as I know, he never responded, but at least she wasn't excommunicated. :)
The other day as I was driving to my sister's I saw a President Hinckley snowman. It was kind of weird--it was complete with glasses, cane, and a sign around the neck that said something like, "Let us all press on." I like your pumpkin better.
